An on-demand video is counted as watched once you've viewed at least 90% of it, so you don't need to reach exactly 100% for it to register. If a video isn't marking as complete, it's usually because the system hasn't yet recorded that you reached the end.
Try this:
- Refresh the page, then click back into the video.
- Drag the progress bar to the very end of the video.
- Return to the course page — the progress indicator should now advance and the requirement should be marked complete.
A couple of things that are normal and not errors:
- Case study videos are optional and won't show as "complete" even after you watch them in full. They aren't required for course completion.
- If we recently updated a course's videos, lessons you watched in the older version may show as unwatched. Your course will still count as complete — you don't need to rewatch the new videos.
Please note: you will still receive your badge after you reach the 90% complete status and submit your project. The status not updating will not hinder you from getting your credit.
If a video is still stuck after refreshing and scrubbing to the end, please contact Section Support at help@sectionai.com with the course name and the video title, and we can review your progress and update it for you if needed.
