Enroll in a course

On-Demand courses are self-paced video versions of Section workshops. No enrollment, no schedule, no Zoom link. This article covers how to access them, who can take what, and how new courses get added.

What is an on-demand course?

An on-demand course is the self-paced version of a Section workshop. It includes pre-recorded video content you watch any time, the same activity packet structure as workshops, and a badge issued automatically within 24 hours of project submission. No Zoom, no schedule, no live instructor.

If you missed a workshop live or want a refresher, the on-demand version is usually the same content.

Who can take on-demand courses

Access depends on your account type:

• Premium members — unlimited access to all on-demand courses
• Enterprise employees — access to whatever your company has enabled
• Individual workshop purchasers — lifetime access to the on-demand version of the workshop you purchased
• Basic (free) members — limited access; some courses are available to test the platform

If you're not sure what you have access to, log in and check the On Demand tab.

How to find and start a course

Log in at app.sectionai.com → On Demand tab. Browse the catalog or use search to find a course, then click into it and start watching. No registration step, no waiting for a session date.

New courses and timing

Section is constantly adding new content. A few things to know about timing:

• New workshops take up to 4 weeks to convert into on-demand format after the live session ends.
• Brand-new on-demand courses (not based on a prior workshop) are added on a rolling basis.
• AI Superpowers — short-form skill practice — are added monthly.

If there's a specific course you're waiting for, check the catalog regularly or contact Section Support and we can give you an estimate.

Access and progress

Your progress is saved automatically. Close the tab any time and pick up where you left off, on any device you're signed in to.

How long you have access depends on your account type:

• Members — access lasts as long as your membership is active.
• Individual purchasers — lifetime access to the course you bought.
• Enterprise employees — access lasts as long as your company maintains its Section contract.

If you completed an on-demand course but the status still shows "In Progress," that's usually a sync bug. Contact Section Support and we'll resolve it.
