Register for your workshop

Registering for an upcoming workshop is simple and this article will cover how to find them, how to enroll, and how to join on the day of the session.

How to find upcoming workshops

Log in at app.sectionai.com and go to the Practice tab. You'll see all upcoming workshops with dates, times, and instructors. If you're not a member yet, the upcoming schedule is also posted at sectionai.com.

How to enroll

How you enroll depends on how you access Section. There are three paths:

• Members — log in at app.sectionai.com, go to the Practice tab, click into the workshop, and click Enroll. Your confirmation email and calendar invite arrive within a few minutes.
• Individual purchase — find the workshop on sectionai.com and complete checkout. You'll receive an account activation email
  • click the link to set up your Section Coach account. 
  • Once logged in, the workshop appears in your Practice tab. 
  • Individual purchasers keep lifetime access to that workshop recording and course materials.
• Enterprise employees — sign in with the email your company provided, and your available workshops appear in the Practice tab. Some workshops may be limited based on what your company has enabled — contact your admin if a workshop you expect to see is missing.

What happens after you enroll

Once you've enrolled, you'll receive a confirmation email, a calendar invite (.ics) you can add to Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, the workshop visible in your Practice tab, and access to the activity packet (shared in Zoom chat during the workshop — see Workshops → Course Materials).

No prep work is required for most workshops. If pre-reading is needed, your instructor will share it ahead of time.

Joining your workshop

There are three places to find your Zoom link on the day of the workshop:

1. In-platform banner — appears at the top of your Section Coach homepage on the day of the session.
2. Calendar invite — the .ics file you got at enrollment has the Zoom link. Zoom will also send a reminder email within 1 hour of the session
3. Confirmation email — your original enrollment confirmation also includes the link.

If none of those are working, check spam and junk for the confirmation email, then:

• log in at app.sectionai.com → Practice tab → click into the workshop. 
• The join button appears there when the session is starting. 
• Still stuck? Email help@sectionai.com.

You can join from a computer or mobile device. We recommend joining via tablet, laptop, or desktop to make better use of the activity packet.

During the session

A typical workshop opens with a brief intro from the instructor, then alternates between teaching segments and hands-on activities from the activity packet. Q&A is live throughout and attendees can submit questions through Zoom chat or exchange knowledge with one another. The session wraps with the instructor sharing the reflection survey link.

Attendees are welcome to leave their camera on or off. Workshops are conversational by design but participation is not a requirement.

How to unenroll

How you unenroll depends on how you registered:

• Members — log in → Practice tab → find the workshop → click Unenroll.
• Individual purchasers — email Section Support. If you're requesting a refund, see Account & Billing → Refunds.
• Workshop already started? If there's no unenroll option, email Section Support and we'll handle it.
