AI Use Cases are interactive learning segments designed to help you apply AI directly to your own work. This article covers how they work, what you can create, and what to know about saving and editing.
What an AI Use Case is
A Use Case is a hands-on session where you apply AI capabilities to a real workplace scenario from your own job. The goal is practical impact — using AI to move work forward, not learning AI in the abstract.
Use Cases live in the Apply tab of Section Coach.
How to create your own
You can either work from Section's Use Case library or create a custom use case tailored to your role and responsibilities. The custom path is most useful when your work doesn't fit a standard template — the Use Case adapts to the specific problem you're solving.
Saving and storage limits
Saving works differently by tier:
- Basic (free) members — save up to 5 use cases
- Premium members — unlimited saved use cases
- Enterprise employees — unlimited (covered by your company's plan)
- Scholarship recipients — unlimited for the duration of your scholarship
Editing or restarting a use case
Once you save a use case, you cannot restart or edit that same use case. If you want to take a different approach to the same scenario, create a new use case rather than editing the existing one.
Badges and use cases
Use Cases do not earn Credly badges.
