Cancel your membership

You can cancel your Premium membership at any time. This article covers how to cancel, when access ends, and what happens to your data.

How to cancel

Log in at app.sectionai.com

• click your profile icon
• select Manage Billing. This takes you to the Stripe billing portal. 
• Click Cancel Subscription.

You don't need to contact Section Support to cancel, but if you have questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach us.

When your access ends

Cancellation doesn't end your access immediately. You keep Premium access through the end of your current paid period. After that, your account downgrades to Basic, and you keep limited access to Section Coach with the Basic features.

What happens to your badges and use cases

Your Credly badges and certificates stay with you permanently since they're in your Credly account, not your Section account. Your saved AI use cases stay in your account, but only the first 5 are accessible under the Basic tier.

If you change your mind

If you cancelled by mistake or want to reverse the cancellation before your paid period ends, log back into Manage Billing in the Stripe portal and resume the subscription. If the period has ended and you've been downgraded to Basic, you can resubscribe at sectionai.com/membership.
