Section honors data deletion requests in line with GDPR and CCPA requirements. This article covers how to submit a request and what gets deleted.
How to request deletion
Submit a deletion request through the Typeform linked from the privacy section of sectionai.com. You can also email help@sectionai.com if you can't find the form.
What gets deleted
Once processed, your Section account is permanently removed, along with:
- Your profile and payment information
- Your saved AI use cases
- Your account access to any membership features
Your Credly badges and certificates are not affected — those live in your Credly account and are yours to keep.
Timing
Deletion requests are processed within 1–3 business days and you'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What to do before requesting deletion
If you have downloadable content (receipts, certificates, use case exports), save it before submitting your request. Once your account is deleted, that content is no longer accessible to you.
