Email changes aren't self-serve. Email Section Support at help@sectionai.com with both your current email (the one tied to your Section account) and the new email you'd like to use — we need both to verify the account is yours.
Email changes are executed within the day of the request, and you'll get a confirmation at the new address once it's complete. Please note that changing your email address will also update your:
- email address on account
- Credly account info
- Stripe contact info
If you sign in with the new email and see a free Basic account instead of your paid membership or enterprise access, the change hasn't gone through yet. Section accounts are tied to specific email addresses, so logging in with an unrecognized email creates a separate free account.
